Short courses are 2 hour, free to drop in, skills-based lessons. They range in topics from the very general to the very specific. These courses are not for credit and are meant to give you a foundation to learn more on your own. No experience in a specific skill is required, but enthusiasm and a willingness to try new things is a necessity.
